É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ

Entry to É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s at 11+

For a dynamic, varied and enriching education from the age of 11 until 18, boys join É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Juniors for two years and then transfer to É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s.

Boys from state primary and independent schools which finish at the end of Year 6 may apply to join É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Juniors at 11+. We admit approximately 36 boys at this point; they spend two years at É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Juniors before moving on to É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s School in Year 9.

Our admission process selects boys who have the necessary strong all-round intellectual ability, interest in academic study and commitment to extra-curricular activities to be happy and thrive here.

Please note – Families of boys applying for assessment in Year 6 must choose either 11+ entry (Year 7) to É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Juniors or 13+ entry (Year 9) to É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s School. You may not register for both.

Those candidates who are unsuccessful in the 11+ application process will not be considered for 13+ entry. It is our strong recommendation that pupils attending schools which take them through to the end of Year 8 apply for 13+ entry.

The application process for 11+ entry in 2025 for boys born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 has now closed.
