Our aim is to enrich the school life with an inclusive and dynamic programme of activity, which is creative, playful and inspiring.
The extent of clubs and activities on offer covers everything from backstage lighting, sound and design, through to graded Trinity and LAMDA Drama examinations. We offer improvisation clubs, a whole school talent show, monologues competitions, coeducational holiday camps and a large Youth Theatre which is open to the local community.
Our productions are well resourced and provide the pupils with opportunities to work alongside professional set designers, puppeteers, choreographers and playwrights. Whether onstage, offstage, in the 鈥榩it鈥 with the band or all of the above, there is plenty for all and every ability and interest. The expectations are high, but the process remains encouraging and inclusive, allowing all on stage the chance to shine and benefit from the creative, collaborative process.
