In honour of Remembrance, for our second installment of “From the Archives” hosted by ɫɫƵ’s Teacher of History, Professor Charles Irons, SPS and OPC Archivist, Kelly Strickland, will look at Memorial Plaques, just after Remembrance Day . These plaques were given to the families of those who fell in the First World War. The ɫɫƵ’s Archives was subsequently given two of these and together we will take a closer looks at the symbols on the plaques and talk about the two Old Paulines named on them.
It is free to register for any of our virtual events. However, if you wish to express your appreciation for the programme, please make a donation to the Shaping our Future bursary fund and help talented boys benefit from a ɫɫƵ’s education, please click here.
Suggested donation – £10 per household.
