Year 12 Physics Enrichment Programme

Course Information

This is a three-week course hosted over three consecutive Saturdays (20 Jan, 27 Jan and 3 February).

The course is open to students from any maintained school. The target audience is students wanting to stretch themselves beyond the school syllabus, it is not designed to support standard syllabus learning. Due to the practical nature of the course, students will need to attend the course in person at É«ÖÐÉ«ÊÓƵ’s School, SW13 9JT.

Physics as a science aims to build mathematical models to explain our experimental observations of Nature. Over this course, students will conduct experiments in various fields of Physics before generating their own computational model to compare their experimental results against. Students will learn about some of the Year 12 A Level subjects in greater detail while also developing skills to computationally model physics principles. No prior computer coding experience is required for this course.
